The end of 2020 was a bit of a blur for me when it comes to photography, as I was blessed to do a whole slew of little shoots for holiday cards. Needless to say, I am WAY behind on posting, but here are a few from a lovely sunset shoot in mid Nov. Love this little fam!
I get so excited when my friends go for another baby. My big questions is “are you going to find out the gender??” I found out with all three of my children as soon as I could, because I could never stand the anticipation of something so big. When these friends told me they were waiting, AND they already had two girls, I could NOT WAIT to find out what this baby would be. I was so excited when they announced their son Wil was here!! I was blessed to do a little newborn shoot for this sweet fam, and here are some favorites.
I’ve photographed this sweet family a handful of times now (starting with big brother’s first birthday portraits), and it’s always fun to see how much everyone has grown! Little sister was more interested in exploring than having her photo taken, but she played along in between dipping her toes in the water and checking out her surroundings. It seems she’s going to be a very independent girl one day in the not-so-distant future! Here are some favorites from our socially distanced shoot. 🙂
This little fam just melts my heart. We go way back, and it’s always such a pleasure to do photo sessions for friends. Life is so busy, and it can be hard to get together. This has been a great way to catch up with those friends, and see how their little ones have grown! I did little sister’s newborn pictures a year ago. After having two boys, the family decided to make the gender of number three a surprise, and I was SO excited to hear that it was a girl (everyone really should have at least one of each IMO)!! What a strange year 2020 is turning out to be! I feel blessed to be able to fit in a few socially distanced shoots this Spring/Summer. We’d booked this one well before anyone had even heard of Covid, and I’m so glad they were still up for making it happen. Big brother couldn’t be happier, and it was a joy to capture this growing family!
This has been a very busy season for me outside of photography, but I’ve managed to fit a few newborn sessions in lately, thank goodness! I’ve done several sessions with this adorable crew over the last few years, and it’s so fun to see their family grow. 🙂

A few weeks ago I had two shoots scheduled for the weekend, which is something I rarely do given our own busy family schedule. One of the shoots was for a gal who was meeting her siblings and parents in Austin (everyone coming from out of town for a graduation). Given their tight schedule I really wanted to make it work, so we put a sunrise session down. Even with the early start time, this big bunch came ready for some action! I had the pleasure of photographing a lovey couple at one of my favorites spots earlier this month. There was a gentle calmness between these two expecting parents, and mama was absolutely glowing! It was a warm, quiet evening at the greenbelt, and here are some images from our sunset shoot.
I was very excited to meet these two at Sekrit Theater for a maternity shoot a few weeks ago. This sweet couple absolutely glows with their excitement for the pending birth of their son, and it was such a pleasure to see them again after shooting their birth announcement earlier this year. This dreamy setting also didn’t disappoint! Here are some favorites from our shoot.
