I got to do a family shoot at one of my favorite places- by the river at our place in Mason. While it was the witching hour for a few of these kiddos, we still managed to pull off some keepers!

Downtown Austin is a fun spot for family shots! Here are a few from a recent shoot. Enjoy!
I met this sweet family on a chilly evening recently. We were all bit surprised by the weather, and these girls were not exactly feeling the camera at first (all they could think about was how cold they were!). Thankfully, everyone kept it happy and fun, and they quickly forgot about the cold. Here are a few favorites from our shoot.
This time of year everyone is ready for family photos! I wish I had time for more sessions, but I’m squeezing these in between other life responsibilities (kids, career, etc.). So grateful for the families who reach out!
I got to photograph this adorable family of three a few weeks back. There’s something so sweet about an only child and how both parents dote. Mom and Dad came fully prepared too with snacks, milk, and bubbles. Here are some favorites from our relaxed sunset shoot.
After a few quiet months and cooler temps, March has brought a bit of Spring and lighter evenings. This was my first shoot of 2022, and this sweet family was relaxed and happy in front of my camera. Here are a few favorites (and there were a lot- this shoot produced 98 keepers which is a lot for an hour session!).
I was excited to shoot a new location in downtown Austin. It was a grey, overcast morning, and it took a little while for everyone to warm up for pictures (most of us aren’t exactly excited to have our picture taken at 7a on a Sunday ;). But once we got going it was all good! Here are a few favs from our shot.
I had the pleasure of photographing this darling family yet again. This time they welcomed their third child into the family, and what a lucky boy he is to be surrounded by all that love. Here are some favorites from our shoot. Enjoy!
This sweet mama reached out to me recently to capture images of their entire family. Mom, dad, two brothers, pup, and two sweet kitties. Those kitties were very special to this family, and they were both terminally ill. I was thrilled to help them capture everyone together before these two passed on. I really do believe that pets are a part of our family and that we will be with them again in Heaven. In the meantime, they will be dearly missed! Here are some favorites from our mini shoot.
I recently met up with this sweet fam to help capture another babe on the way. We opted for a sunrise shoot with big brother’s schedule and the long July days (a 7:30p shoot with a two year old is just asking for trouble!). It was a beautiful morning, and it felt peaceful and quiet out on Bull Creek. With recent rains, there was a ton of water flowing through this area. Here are some favorites from our little shoot.
